      The 1980-2009 Piper PA-32R-301T Turbo Saratoga is the turbocharged retractable Saratoga -- 6-seat cabin, retractable gear, Lycoming TIO-540 producing 300 HP through 20,000 ft. The Turbo Saratoga competed with the Cessna T210, Beechcraft A36TC, and Mooney M20K for high-altitude cross-country missions while offering uniquely capable 6-seat cabin.

      Three named variants spanned the run:

      • Turbo Saratoga SP (1980-1989): Original turbo retractable
