Overview
The Tecnam P92 is a two-seat, high-wing, strut-braced light sport aircraft designed by Prof. Luigi Pascale and manufactured by Costruzioni Aeronautiche Tecnam S.p.A. in Capua, Italy. The P92 prototype made its maiden flight on 14 March 1993 and debuted at the Bassano del Grappa Air Show in Italy, originally built to comply with Italian ultralight law (Law 106/1985). It is Tecnam's most-produced and most recognized aircraft design.
The P92 Eaglet, introduced at the 2008 Sebring Light Sport Expo, was Tecnam's purpose-built entry for the US Special Light Sport Aircraft (S-LSA) market.
